All these photos are taken by my favorite montreal photographer, Chouizz, you can find him on instagram! I have done many street photoshoots with him but I wanted to show some of his other work. He is by far the best photographer and friend ever, he is growing so fast and I could not be prouder. Chouizz showcases every important aspect of these outfits along with the perfect amount of scenery to tie in the atmosphere. Notice in these photos, he blurs out the background, this helps to pay more attention to the outfit and it’s fit.
This first outfit is worn by Alecia Dos Santos. The photo was taken in Longueil on a street called “Route 132”. Her retro shorts are from American Apparel in the perfect light washed tone to match with any coloured top. These shorts are high waisted which I love because she can easily pair them with a shorter top while keeping it classy and without showing too much skin in the midriff area. Keeping it simple she paired them with a gray t shirt along with the same toned gray zip up hoodie that she thrifted. The t shirt is a thin material that hugs the shape of your body, this is great because it gives her some shape but the hoodie keeps it modest. I love the hoodie because it really gives her outfit a more laid back feel while still looking presentable. Her outfit symbolizes the street with it’s clean colors and very basic essentials for an everyday look but the shorts make the look a little more girly. Alecia lying down on the pavement really shows her embracing her own “street chic” look.
Modelling in this next picture is Nathan Dejean who is rocking a basic outfit but making it chic with the perfect accesories. His basic black tee can be found anywhere from Micheal Kors to Old Navy. The material on this shirt is of very good quality thus perhaps a bit more expensive then just a black tee from Old Navy. He paired the top with some light wash skinny jeans, these bring a little contrast to the outfit but with the jewlery, the look balances out perfectly. The main focus of this whole outfit that makes it chic rather than basic is the Versace belt. Although this is an expensive piece, it is a staple accesory to have in your closet. These belts are usually very expensive but you could always get a look a like for cheaper that will give you the same pop. Nathan also added two chains that gave the belt something to pair up with. Lastly, he is just wearing some basic stuf earrings in ordr to not take away from the belt since it is the center of this look. This photo was taken at Mcgill University. The buildings are quite old but carry beautiful stories with each of them. The architecture in the building behind him is gorgeous and really completes the clean yet rich look.
