I want to encourage people to confidently be the best and most natural version of themselves, that is why I decided to start a project based on natural beauty. I have gathered multiple models of different shapes, colors and size for a videoshoot/photoshoot. I allow them to wear whatever they would like and style their hair however they want but my only requirement is no makeup. I want the models to feel comfortable in their own clothes and confident considering taking pictures without makeup is out of most girls comfort zones. My goal is to get the girls to walk out of the photoshoot feeling better about themselves without any makeup. I want girls to be confident without makeup and only wear makeup for fun, not to cover up their insecurities. I hope that when other girls see the pictures and videos of my models with no makeup feeling good in their own skin, it will show them that everybody has flaws but if you accept the things you cannot change and own them, your natural beauty will shine through.

I want girls to embrace their flaws and come to realize we are in this together and we should all bring each other up. I am encouraging difference while daring to stand out and confidentally be you. I love doing my makeup because it is truly an art but, putting on makeup for fun and putting on makeup to cover up what you do not want to accept, are two different things. Reality is, most people have acne, most people have cellulite and stretch marks and body hair. We are all human, we are all built up of the same atoms, the only thing that makes us different is our minds, bodies and souls, so start owning them. We need to start being comfortable with ourselves and teach the younger generations that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We should not be defined by the colour of our skin or the size of our hips or the way we choose to wear our clothes, be you but be you with confidence and do not let anybody tear you down.

Unfortunately my pictures were too big to be posted but they will be going viral along with the video at the end of October 2017, stay tuned!

Girls got shoes from Nine WestShoes from Nine West

Got a sneak peek of the shoes Nine West sponsored for us

https://www.ninewest.ca/

Our shoes from Nine West were on display and we were blessed with 50$ gift cards to purchase anything we wanted in store. I bought the cutest blue stileto heels with an open toe.

Rob himself was running the Archer Dental booth and giving away dental supplies, I unfortunately got stuck taking pictures for other girls and did not get a chance to get anything at the booth but from what I heard everything was extremely good!

Golden goddess beauty supplies gave us little gift bags with homemade natural body butter and some exfoliant. They were also offering us a spray tan at a discounted price! I was so intrigued by the fact that the lady representing the brand told us she had made the body butter that morning at her house with her daughter. The body butter smells AMAZING and gives the perfect glow to your skin while keeping it looking naturally moisturized.

All these photos are taken by my favorite montreal photographer, Chouizz, you can find him on instagram! I have done many street photoshoots with him but I wanted to show some of his other work. He is by far the best photographer and friend ever, he is growing so fast and I could not be prouder. Chouizz showcases every important aspect of these outfits along with the perfect amount of scenery to tie in the atmosphere. Notice in these photos, he blurs out the background, this helps to pay more attention to the outfit and it’s fit.

This first outfit is worn by Alecia Dos Santos. The photo was taken in Longueil on a street called “Route 132”. Her retro shorts are from American Apparel in the perfect light washed tone to match with any coloured top. These shorts are high waisted which I love because she can easily pair them with a shorter top while keeping it classy and without showing too much skin in the midriff area.  Keeping it simple she paired them with a gray t shirt along with the same toned gray zip up hoodie that she thrifted. The t shirt is a thin material that hugs the shape of your body, this is great because it gives her some shape but the hoodie keeps it modest. I love the hoodie because it really gives her outfit a more laid back feel while still looking presentable. Her outfit symbolizes the street with it’s clean colors and very basic essentials for an everyday look but the shorts make the look a little more girly. Alecia lying down on the pavement really shows her embracing her own “street chic” look.

Modelling in this next picture is Nathan Dejean who is rocking a basic outfit but making it chic with the perfect accesories. His basic black tee can be found anywhere from Micheal Kors to Old Navy. The material on this shirt is of very good quality thus perhaps a bit more expensive then just a black tee from Old Navy. He paired the top with some light wash skinny jeans, these bring a little contrast to the outfit but with the jewlery, the look balances out perfectly. The main focus of this whole outfit that makes it chic rather than basic is the Versace belt. Although this is an expensive piece, it is a staple accesory to have in your closet. These belts are usually very expensive but you could always get a look a like for cheaper that will give you the same pop. Nathan also added two chains that gave the belt something to pair up with. Lastly, he is just wearing some basic stuf earrings in ordr to not take away from the belt since it is the center of this look. This photo was taken at Mcgill University. The buildings are quite old but carry beautiful stories with each of them. The architecture in the building behind him is gorgeous and really completes the clean yet rich look.

Montreal is a beautiful city full of gorgeous scenery but my favorite place to be is right in the heart of downtown. I love the big buildings, the busy streets and the bright lights all around.  There is no specific place that I love more than the other because each place completes one and other. The Olympic stadium is a huge attraction in my city but without Mount Royal, it wouldn’t be seen to it’s full potential. Most importantly, the reason why I love downtown Montreal so much is because of all the amazing memories I have there from when I was younger to now. I have grown there and it is full of places to just have fun. For example, my boyfriend took me to an arcade near Saint-Catherine’s St and I felt like a little kid again. I also recently went bowling with my best friends downtown and we were all quite bad but it’s the company that counts!

This  is my childhood best friend Rachel and I love her very much! This is from when we went bowling at the Forum near Dawson College.

My name is Samantha and I am so excited to begin this journey in a week from now. All of this happened by accident to be completely honest. I had no clue what I was auditioning for, I had auditioned for Top Model Canada and got sent upstairs for Miss Teen Canada. I showed up in jeans and a  tank top with no makeup on and my favorite sneakers. So for me to have been chosen out of many beautiful and sweet girls, I thought to myself it was a sign that I should give it a go!

Truth be told, I could not have made it this far without my mom. She is truly my second half that is constantly supporting and helping me succeed. I am so thankful for her but I am also very fortunate to have an amazing family. My dad, my brother, my sister, their spouses and my niece and nephew are extremely supportive of me and I would not trade them for the world. Lastly, my friends and my boyfriend are huge supporters of  everything I do. They are always there to lend a hand, come to photo shoots with me, drive me to auditions but most importantly, love and encourage me.

This is my best friend Emily and I, we have been friends for over 12 years and I love her to death. I can always count on her and she is forever like my second sister. The first image is us at volleyball and the one below is of us at science fair.
